Poppin’ the Cherry

“Allow myself to introduce myself”, my name Ben a.k.a. DJ OB-one. I have been in the game for about 15 years now & see that this is only the beginning of my musical journey. Starting this label will give us the opportunity & the outlet to release music that we believe in, feel, & just plain like without having to bend & conform to “what’s popular” & “what sells”. I think in general the music industry is in a sad state, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t great music out there waiting to be heard & we aim to find it. We are not genre or bpm specific with this label…good music is good music no matter what genre, tempo, or style it is period. Until we have the label up & running completely, here is a mix that my partner from HavocNdeeD (J.Paul) & I recently finished for our trip to Australia. Since we are playing more mainstream venues, it is geared to appeal to a broader range of people. Nonetheless, I think our style was still able to shine through. Hope you enjoy….
